Greetings All Clan-Cousins Out There !
May the Sapphire Glow permeate your Being ... or as appropriate for Your Deity of choice.
I am a Veteran Tekumel Player and GM who has been playing and GM'ing since about 1975 when "It all came to be". I have a reasonably complete collection of Tekumel products - in fact - I don't think that I am 'missing' anything but the latest editions Of the 'Seal of the Imperium'.
I even have some Tekumel miniatures from the Old Days when Ral Partha made them (!). I am well pleased to see miniatures available again, and when I get some "spare cash" up and free, I look forward to acquiring a reasonable amount to boost my very select numbers. I remember attending a Gaming Convention 'GenCon' in 1988 in Milwaulkie USA - where I think I saw a huge Tekumel demo battle with significant numbers of ministures. I dream of still doing something such as this, depending upon my space limits at my own domicile.
I have recently posted an article on New Eyes, that emerged one afternoon during some 'brainstorming' with a mutual Tekumel mate of mine. I have quite a pile of Home Grown articles for Forum Members to pick and choose from, and I hope to post some of them via Tekumel.com and Peter Gifford from Universal Head.
I highly prixe my latest Tekumel products : Vols I and II of Mitlanayal, and I have just paid for the Trilogy of New Novels that I have been wanting for a while now (!).
In MY Tekumel - I have been designing Scenarios that have reasonably closely followed along the cannon timelines and plot lines as in the Current 2nd Imperium Events. However .... at the climatic end of The Golden Tower invasion, Dhichune was sighted, fleeing the scene at the very top levels of The Tower - attempting an egress via balcony and into a waiting Nexus Portal. He was transfixed 'fair and true' right through his Heart - however - he still moved about as if he was still 'fine' and made his inelegant exit.
When the final Kolumejalim was held in Avanthar after the Civil War, Lord Jayargo and his Croneys had The Usurper Dhichune actually appear to Claim his Right or reinforce his Legitimacy. The Court of Purple Robes and Officials were reminded that Dhichune may actually not be "alive" as in the true sense of things. I had him return as an exhaulted version of a Hotekpu - the 'perfect' Undead. Sorcerous tests were conducted promptly, and even a demonstration of his current status was undertaken (by surprise) ... and The Officials declared that the Ancient Traditions must be upheld and Enacted forthwith ..... That since Dhichune had declared Himself as Emperor - then - since he was to all intents asd purposes ... 'Dead" ... then he must be interred without delay, in an appropriate Sarcophagus with all the Seals, and taken to the Imperial Tombs beneath Avanthar and laid-to-rest with all the other deceased Emperors. This was done, with the assistance of the Omnipotent Azure Legion's eager assistance, The Silver Suits, functionaries, and the Graet Funeral Vault closed and Sealed as proscribed bt tradition ....even as Dhichune's protestations and screams were finally muted in the dark and dusty silence of the Imperial Mausoleum.
Then the sequence of the revokation of The Gold by Taksuru and the final vicory of the New Emperor Mirusiya took place as per the current timeline of events. I have no idea of how things went within the three New Novels - but I will find out soon enough when they arrive at my place soon.
I would sure like to know if anyone has actually made any Maps of Places in and around Avanthar. I have had a few Maps on a Micro Hex scale using the hex map pad sheets from the Old 'Judges Guild' pads. I have worked out how to 'break down a Macro Hex on the plastic Gamescience maps into what I call 'Sub Hexes' and then the Micro Hex mini hexes. It all 'works out' and I would be happy to post an article expalining how to draw it all and integrate it all with tactical movement for either PC Scenarios or Qadardalikoi battles, etc.
All the Best Everyone, and look forward to chatting and uploading/ swapping Tekumel articles soon. A big Thanks to all of the wonderful Contributors that have kept Tekumel "alive" over the years, especially to The Vistations of Glory writers and all of the preceding fan-zines.

I have quite a few Contributions for Everybody in my files.
I playa a combo of Gradasiyal with my own additions, in combination with the extended Spell Lists and detail of Swords and Glory.
I mostlt use the 'Quick Play' system, and I have expanded upon a lot of the Base Rules. I have some detailed maps that I have drawn, and integrated systems for use with Tactical Movement, down to Scenario Movement, Feifs Resources, Mapping Advice and a whole pile of other stuff ....
I haven't a scanner big enough (!) But I do also have an A3 Folio sized and hexagoned "Isle of the Hluss" complete with sub-maps and Encounter Tables. I'll try to digitize the map, and enter all the data into a series of articles. Pretty 'scary' stuff - and certainly a place that "nobody (volutarily) wants to go to" - hence it was rather liken to an "escape from Alcatraz' Scenario. The reason why my PC's went there was to (literally) 'Rescue the Princess' .... Imperial Princess Ma'in Kruthai hi Tlakotani. She had been kidnapped by nonhuman agents responsible for the Zu'ur trade and tarfficking through to the humans in Tsolyanu. The kidmapper/ pirates had become marooned (wrecked) upon Hlussayal and a rescue force was despatched (in secret) to retrieve the errant Princess. Significant social rewards were offered by Imperial High Officials for her covert and top secret return to the mainland. The mission was therefore a like a 'special ops' raid, detection, search and silent extraction kind .
After all ..... Who wants to alert several thousand Hluss warriors and a very nasty, hungry and FERTILE Hluss Mother or two. Ohe - and wait to you get a load of the 'Hive Mother Superior' too .... [Think along the lines of Alien No.2!].
I design terrifying Scenarios.

Sounds like a lot of great material. You might consider participating in Visitations of Glory, the Tekumel amateur press association. More info, and past volumes of the Book of Visitations of Glory, is here on the site:
If you'd like to see yourself in print, you could contact Carl Brodt. Along with running Tita's House of Games, he also publishes Seal of the Imperium. It's a fanzine I suppose, but more like an annual supplement.
A lower profile approach would be to upload documents to the Files section of the tekumel yahoogroup:
It's a much more active community than this site.
