Hey all -
Can anyone spare some compassion to a Tékumel newbie and point me towards any on-line info about the nation of Salarvya? I don't have access to any of the books (gaming or novels) right now, and I'm playing a Salarvya noble in a bi-monthly game. Having some info on the culture would be a great help.

Try ordering the novel by M.A.R. Barker, its called 'A Death of Kings' and reveals a lot about Salarvya as it is completely set in that nation after the death of the Salarvyani King Griggatsesa!

I'm not aware of any online sources for information about Salarvya. The best print source is the Tekumel Sourcebook, it covers cultural information in general. Also Volume 4 of the Armies of Tekumel series covers the Nchésh (legion-equivalents) of the ruling families of Salarvya, and has some details that can't be found elsewhere. A Death of Kings has a significant amount of action set in portions of Salarvya, but mainly port cities of the east, and dark Tsa'avtulgu. Not much about the western realms that would have the most connection to Tsolyanu.
