As all the cool kids know, The Tekumel Project Summer Catalog is out. Yay! I am feeling the need to paint up the Sacrifice set based on a drawing by the Professor, himself.

I need some help on the Colors for a Priest of Durritiamish.

Also is there a good description of the colors worn by Princess Vrisa, other than general Saa Allaqi colors?

All thoughts including wild speculation are appreciated!

regarding colors for a priest of Durritlamish:

from Mitlanyal, vol. 2: "His priests and priestesses wear brown and purple or brown and black robes, brown lacquered armor (or leather bodices in the case of females), and skull-faced headresses. The clergy paint their faces grey to resemble corpses."

Sarku's colors are earth-brown, dull black, and copper. Copper metal ornaments are common. Recall that priests of the Worm Lord have special magic that lets them give copper the hardness and toughness of enchanted steel. The Temples of the Cohorts very often combine the color of their principle deity with the colors of the "supreme principle" (purple or black for Hru'u, white for Hnalla).

No idea about the Saa Allaqiyani princess. Her gear doesn't match up with the Saa Allaqiyani legions described in Armies of Tekumel vol 2. You should post a question to the Tekumel Project blog, or maybe to the Tekumel minis email list.

Princess Vrisa was Kathy Marschall's character from Professor Barker's game. I have a scan of a picture Kathy did of the Princess and Koro 'Tai, her husband. It is hand coloured - I will see if I can post it to the blog. The main colours are silver and gold armour with orange trim.
