I think Tekumel.com should have a Tekumel FAQ document, prominently displayed.. You could probably use the one Brett Slocum did, for now:

it may need some updating, but it's better than nothing.

At some time, the Gods only know when, but probably in a few months, the d20 version of Tekumel: Empire of the Petal Throne will be published by Guardians of Order. When it does you will probably see a notable surge in interest in Tekumel, and more traffic to this site, largely from newbies. Something perhaps to prepare for.

If you go to the Eye of Incomparable Understanding you'll see a link to the FAQ, along with all the other info for newbies. It does need updating though. Your point about newbies after the d20 release is well taken.
