Tomorrow (Friday the 22nd) evening from 5-7 pm Eastern Time, we'll have our usual "Joyful Sitting Among Friends" at U-Con. This is a very informal social gathering for Tekumel fans at the start of the con. This year we're going to try to have Chirine Ba Kal (aka Jeff Berry) participate remotely via a Google Hangout live video chat.
Jeff has a long and complicated history with Tekumel, with great expertise, particularly how it was played in its early days.
He has a blog here:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities ... 0726897114I've created an "event" in Google+ and invited that Community.
otherwise, email me your Google account name, and I'll look you up and invite you.
You'll need a Google account, and to have Google+ and Google Hangouts set up. That will require an Android or iOS app or the Hangout extension for your web browser.
I say trepidation because we're doing this a bit last minute, and we'll only have wireless connection at the con site, so I'm not supremely confidant that it will actually work. Still, I think it's worth a try. I've used Google Hangouts before, and they can go pretty well. If you can use headphones or external speakers rather than the built-in speakers on your computer or mobile device, that will be a good idea, it greatly reduces problems with audio feedback.
I'll report on how it goes.
