The adventurers meet on a leaky old boat that takes them past Jakalla and sinks in the mud of Bey Su harbour. (Perhaps the same boat that got the Salarvyani prince there in the novel "A Death of Kings?)

They make it to shore, nearly penniless, and must survive. It is a variation on the old Jakalla start in the first edition! Rules are 3.5 compatible, combining systems from this site, the EPT rules that I have from Ian Sturrock, and charts from first edition, etc. As a test, it isn't, though data on rules will be recorded for the Tekumel Foundation on the development site. There is already a full color map of Bey Su there.

Being clanless, the players may get jobs, enslaved or killed. It's a race. More later.

I could see this work for the right kind of group but I think that many groups could feel frustrated by the struggle to just survive as penniless clanless scum.

The campaign was short.
Though they were penniless, the group was made up of decent levelled shaken and warriors. They were hired for one dungeon crawl after another until a total wipe occurred. Sad.

Now working the same players into Tsolyani characters.
