Being a long time DnD player (since '81) I had of course heard of Tekumel, but hadn't checked it out until recently (after seeing Casey777 mention it at Dragonsfoot). I am aware that is is a niche game/setting, but from what I've read so far, it's fascinating. At some point, I'd like to join a group that plays in Tekumel - preferably in Central Texas, where my permanent home is.
At the very minimum, I'd like to construct a Tekumel chess set using available miniatures. I see that there is a new line that came out recently. Does anyone have any suggestions? Tsoylanu vs. Yan Kor?
